Coating effect: After applying the mask, it slowly solidifies and transforms into a cooling, moisturizing jelly mask with a bouncy texture. The Jelly Coat Mask Calm transforms from a colorless powder to a blue-colored, creamy texture when water is added.
Release & relax effect: The active ingredients contained have a calming effect, can soothe redness and irritation and have a balancing effect: they promote the regeneration of the skin and bring it into balance. In addition, the formulation has antioxidant properties, protects the skin from environmental and skin stressors and strengthens the skin's natural barrier. Main ingredients for your Calm Down Moment:
- Alginate: The moisturizing active ingredient alginate from brown algae forms the basis of the Jelly Coat mask and provides the bouncy texture with a cooling effect. We source the majority of our brown algae from Europe and the alginate is processed in France.
- Ectoin: is an amino acid produced by microorganisms. The ingredient increases moisture in the cells, which has a smoothing and regenerating effect on the skin. In addition, ectoine is known for its soothing and antioxidant properties, soothes redness, strengthens the skin barrier and balances it.
- Glycyrrhizin: is a natural raw material from the licorice root. The ingredient is known to soothe irritation and itching and calm the skin. In addition, glycyrrhizin has skin-brightening and antioxidant properties on the skin, which can prevent premature skin ageing.
- Allantoin: promotes regeneration and intensively moisturizes, so that the skin appears smoothed and revitalized.
Dosage:
- 1x generously heaped dosing spoon of powder (=5g).
- 3x moderately filled measuring spoons of water (=15g)
Use: Pour the powder and water into a bowl. Tip: for the optimum mixing ratio, weigh out at the beginning and use double the amount in the same ratio if necessary. Then mix everything quickly with a brush or spatula to form a homogeneous mixture until there are no more lumps. Immediately apply the still liquid mask to the face with the brush or spatula (note: avoid the eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nose) and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then carefully remove the hardened mask from your face and cleanse your face with lukewarm water. Dispose of the removed mask in the residual waste.
